“Night Wave” is the next phase of my series “Nocturnal Colours“. Neon sign making is a dying art form and night life subcultures are keeping neon signs alive via theaters, liquor stores, dive bars and sex shops. Focusing on mainly women of color in punk/goth aesthetics, set in a night life landscape full of imagined vibrant neon signs, leather, violence and pop culture details are captured in compositions reminiscent of old master paintings and a surreal fever dream. 

All pieces in this series were created in 2021 through 2023. Some of the pieces have been exhibited in various gallery group shows, including:
